Thanks for visiting the site. LakerLiker was created to entertain our thoughts as Laker fans. We do this by using this blog platform as our worldwide writing pad.

Our loyalty for the purple & gold began in the Showtime era, watching Magic make his signature no look passes, James being the lucky recipient of most of those no look passes, Byron's beautiful jump shot, Kareem's skyhook that athletes still fail to mirror, Rambis and his scrappy yet underestimated will to score, A.C. Green and his resilient craft for the game and finally Cooper with his lengthy defense. Magic Johnson truly was and always will be the reason why we became fans to begin with.

Now, with this new generation of Laker greats comes Kobe Bryant. He has given us a sense of a new revived spirit and more reason to love the Lakers! He IS the predecessor of the Showtime regime and now the ambassador for the NEW Laker Dynasty!

We will look forward to yet another nail-biting season and plenty to write about!
